James 'Otis' Williams served as Director of Nyumburu Cultural Center since its conception for 25 years. On Friday, April 4th, 1997, four days before the 1st anniversary of the new building, Otis passed away. For those of us who were blessed with the pleasure of knowing him, he will be missed and never forgotten. For he touched our hearts and made our lives better with every day he shared with us.
